!This isn’t just a front desk job—it’s the heartbeat of our salon. You’ll be the first face our clients see and the glue that keeps everything running smoothly. We’re looking for someone who’s bubbly, driven, and ready to take charge of our client experience, sales, and daily operations
What You’ll Do:
- Welcome & Connect – Greet every client like they’re walking into their second home. Your energy sets the tone!
- Manage the Flow – Keep stylists booked and clients happy with seamless appointment scheduling.
- Boost Sales – Confidently recommend services and retail products to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue.
- Manage Inventory – Track, order, and organize salon products to ensure we’re always stocked with what clients need.
- Jump In When Needed – Shampoo a guest if we’re short on an assistant—teamwork makes the dream work!
- Capture the Magic – Take high-quality photos for social media to showcase our work and help grow our brand.
- Keep it Spotless – Oversee salon cleanliness and delegate tasks to keep the space looking its best.
- Be the Brand Ambassador – Help bring in new clients and make sure everyone leaves raving about their experience.
- Stay One Step Ahead – Know what’s happening at all times, multitasking like a pro.

The Apprenticeship Program
Dear Creative Individuals,
Do you have a passion for making people feel and look beautiful? How would you like to earn wages, save on school tuition AND get real world salon experience and training in cosmetology?
Join the apprenticeship program at The Hair Station, be sponsored by an senior stylist and see these benefits...

This 24 month program includes learning the technical, business and personality skills needed to be successful in the beauty industry. We teach our stylists to be well rounded in all aspects of cosmetology with a heavy focus on hair color, haircutting and specialty hair color services.
After completion of the program, the apprentice will be eligible to take the Maryland cosmetology state board test to receive their certified state cosmetology license.
Hours: The program requires a mandatory 20 working hours but can exceed that as student progresses through the program. Apprentices will be required to attend monthly trainings that extend outside of their paid hours working in the salon so schedule flexibility is a must.
Fees & Kit: While there is no tuition, there are application costs for a sponsorship through the state as well as tools required for the job. The Hair Station will provide a kit that will include all learning materials needed, tools needed and more. The upfront cost of these items will range from $500-$750.
