Megan began her career in hair in 2005. After working in various salons in the area, she found her home at The Hair Station in 2012. She fell in love with the friendly environment, the uniqueness of the salon, the staff and all of the salons wonderful guests. ♥️ So much that she bought the salon from former owner Debbie on November 1st 2019.
She loves all aspects of hairdressing but has a real passion for the art of cutting hair. Her goal is to make every guest that visits feel and look their very best and to fall in love with The Hair Station just as she has.
What is your go to hair product?
"I have a few go to’s but if I have to pick ONE, Redken Outshine is the most versatile and I use it on almost everyone to add smoothness and shine to finish their style."
What do you like to do when you’re not at work?
"I love spending time with my family and friends, going out dancing, playing pool and hanging with my dogs."
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
"Luck comes from hard work."
What did you want to be when you grew up?
"When I was very young I wanted to be a veterinarian but as I got older I didn’t have a clue what I wanted to do! After epically failing accounting in college, I wanted to go a way different direction and thought I’d take a shot at doing hair. 15 years later… I am so glad I failed that class!"
What is the most inspiring thing about your job?
"The impact that just a few highlights, a new haircut or simply having someone to vent to can make on a person. The best feeling is when a client comes in and is having a rough day or week and I can help make their lives a little better, at least for a moment.

"My favorite thing to do is spend time with my friends and family. I also love to read, try out new restaurants with my friends, and of course go to target!"
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?"Never let anyone dim your light."
What did you want to be when you grew up?
"I wanted to be a chef! I have always loved to be in the kitchen and cook for friends and family!"

"I love interacting with our clients. Talking to them about their life and how they feel! Being able to make them happy and feel beautiful is one of the best feelings ever."

"Frizz Dismiss Anti - Static Oil. I personally have really staticky hair in the winter, so I am excited to try this out to find a solution for myself and share with my clients who also get their hair stuck to their face once the cold weather comes around."

"Getting the chance to turn someone’s day into an amazing one. I love learning about all of the interesting people I get to meet, whether they are in my chair or someone else working in this industry. There are so many cool people in this world that I would have never met without cosmetology and I’m grateful for that."
